1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the types, dimensions, technical requirements and relevant use regulations of stainless steel raised face welding ring steel pipe flanges.
This standard is applicable to stainless steel raised face welded ring steel pipe flanges with nominal pressure PNO.6MPa (6bar) ~ 4.0MPa (40bar) for stainless steel pipes (Note). Note: The types and sizes of raised face welded ring loose sleeve steel pipe flanges in this standard (LJ type) are also applicable to other non-ferrous metal pipes with the same outer diameter specifications, but the pipe wall thickness S should be calculated for strength. 3 Types and Sizes
According to the combination of stainless steel butt welding ring and flange, there are two types: loose sleeve (LI type) 3.0.13
and flat welding (SO type).
3.0.1.1 Loose sleeve flange with nominal pressure PN0.6MPa (6bar) ~ 1.6MPa (16bar) is plate flange.
3.0.1.2 Nominal pressure PN2.5MPa (25bar) ~ 4.0MPa (40bar) ) is a loose-fitting flange with a neck.
3.0.2 The types and dimensions of stainless steel raised face welded loose-fitting steel pipe flanges shall be in accordance with the provisions of Figures 3.0.2-1, 3.0.2-2 and Tables 3.0.2--1 to 3.0.25. Loose-fitting plate type (PNO.6 to 1.6 MPa)

3.0.3 The types and dimensions of stainless steel raised face welded ring flat welded steel pipe flanges (SO type) shall be in accordance with the provisions of Figure 3.0.3 and Tables 3.0.3-1 to 3.0.3-3. 3.0.4 The thickness S of the welded ring flange shall not be less than the value S listed in the table.
