replaces JB4703—1992
This standard is applicable to the long-neck butt welding method of steel pressure vessels with nominal pressures of 0.6~6.4MPa and operating temperatures of -70~450°C. orchid.

4 Selection regulations
4.1 The materials, maximum allowable working pressure, technical conditions and markings of flanges and matching gaskets, studs and nuts are in accordance with the provisions of JB/T4700.
4.2 Non-metallic soft gaskets, non-metallic gaskets, and metal-clad gaskets used for flanges shall comply with the regulations of JB/T4704, JB/T4705, and JB/T4706 respectively.
4.3 Equal-length double-headed studs for flanges shall comply with the requirements of JB/T4707. 4.4 When the thickness of the butt cylinder connected to the flange is less than the minimum butt cylinder thickness 8 in Table 1. When required, the total flange height H should be adjusted according to the requirements in Table 3, and the flange thickness should be noted in the flange mark. State Machinery Industry Bureau
