This standard specifies the availability verification test method for products that can be frequently repaired and use steady-state availability or steady-state unavailability as availability indicators. This standard is applicable to the steady-state availability verification test of products that meet the following conditions and have only two states: available and unavailable: a. Single repairable product; b. All available time follows the same exponential distribution; c. Although preventive maintenance time may affect availability, it is not included in the unavailable time; d. All unavailable time items must be clearly stated in the requirements or test specifications; e. Products with very high reliability require a particularly long time to do verification tests; f. The verification test method uses steady-state unavailability as a supplement.
