Requirements for Pipeline Pressure Test
1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the pressure test requirements for ship power piping and ship system piping. This standard applies to ship power piping and ship system piping. 2 Test Quality Requirements
2.1 The pressure gauge used for the pressure test shall be calibrated and qualified and within the effective period of use. CB/T3616—94
Classification number: U50
2.2 The strength test of the pipe shall be carried out in the workshop after processing; the tightness test of the pipeline shall be carried out after installation on board. Leakage inspection shall be carried out on each flange and pipe joint. There shall be no leakage. During the tightness test, the pipeline shall be separated from the machinery or equipment. 2.3 All pipes for Class 1 and Class I piping systems, as well as steam pipes, water pipes, compressed air pipes and fuel pipes with a design pressure greater than 0.35MPa shall be subjected to hydraulic strength test after manufacturing and before being wrapped with insulation materials or coated. 2.4 When Class I and Class 1 piping systems are connected by butt welding during installation on board, a hydraulic test shall be carried out after welding in accordance with the provisions of the table; if the entire circumference of the butt weld is inspected by ultrasonic or radiographic inspection and the quality is good, the hydraulic test may be exempted. 2.5 The compressed air pipeline should be tested for air tightness under working pressure. The test time of the air pipeline (without air bottle) shall not be less than 10 minutes, and the pressure drop shall not be greater than 1%; the test time of the air pipeline and the air bottle together shall not be less than 2 hours, and the pressure shall not drop significantly. 2.6 After the pipeline pressure test, the water in the pipe shall be drained and blown dry with compressed air. 2.7 Grade 1 and Grade Ⅱ pipelines and pipelines that need to be inspected by ship inspection shall be stamped with a qualified steel stamp after passing the strength test. 2.8 Records should be kept during the hydraulic strength test and tightness test. Pressure test requirements
The hydraulic strength test and tightness test of the pipeline (excluding the suction pipeline) shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the following table. Pipeline test pressure
