This part is proposed by the Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. This part is under the jurisdiction of the Computer and Information Processing Standardization Committee of the Ministry of Public Security. GA/T556.6—2007

Part 6: Savings bank (business outlet) coding rules This part of GA/T556 stipulates the savings bank (business outlet) coding rules. This part is applicable to the construction of financial public security and protection management information system. 2 Normative references

The savings bank (business outlet) code consists of 12 digits. The meaning of this code is: a) The first to sixth digits indicate the province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government), city (region), district (county, banner) where the savings bank (business outlet) is located, which complies with the provisions of the administrative division code in GB/T2260; b) The seventh to eighth digits indicate the category code of the financial institution, which complies with the provisions of GA/T556.4; the ninth to twelfth digits indicate the last 4 digits of the safety and security facility certificate number of the savings bank (business outlet) in various places; c) The number is in accordance with the provisions of GA/T556.10.
