Packaging container Steel drums-Part 2: Removable head (openhead) drums with a minimum total capacity of 208L, 210L and 216.5L (ISO15750-1:2002, Packaging—Steeldrums Part 1: Removable head (openhead) drums GB/T 325 "Packaging Container Steel Drums" is divided into 5 parts: Part 1: General technical requirements; Part 2: Fully open steel drums with a minimum total capacity of 208L, 210L and 216.5L; Part 3: Closed steel drums with a minimum total capacity of 212L, 216.5L and 230L; Part 4: Fully open steel drums of 200L and below; Part 5: Closed pot drums of 200L and below. This part is the second part of GB/T325. The consistency degree of this part with IS015750-1:2002 "Packaging GB/T325.2-2010 Part 1: Minimum total capacity 208L, 210L and 216.5L full-open steel drum" (English version) is modified and adopted. The main differences are as follows: According to the actual domestic situation, the terms and definitions adopt the provisions of GB/T4122.4, the pot and drum materials comply with the provisions of GB/T325.1, and the closure materials comply with the provisions of GB/T13251; the process content has been deleted; the provisions on the representation of the specifications and models of full-open pot and drum have been deleted; Appendix A, the measurement method of the capacity of full-open steel drums, has been added. This part is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Packaging Standardization. The drafting units of this part are: National Packaging Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Guangzhou), Hangzhou COFCO Packaging Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Sifang Drum Co., Ltd.
The main drafters of this part are Cai Yijun, Zhu Liping, Ling Guangyao, Lu Ming, Han Chunming, Zhang Xiaoshang, Guo Kewen, Wang Xiaoru, Luo Xiaoyin, Yao Xiaoqing, Zhao Jizhen and Huang Guangchi.

Note 1: Among the 4 types of steel barrels in the table, the optimal outer diameter of type A barrel and type C barrel should meet the requirement that 4 steel barrels can be stacked side by side in a standard container. Note 2: For type A barrel and type C barrel, the outer diameter D. can be achieved by adjusting the barrel mouth structure. The two adjustment methods are as follows: a)
Reduce the barrel mouth diameter. Normally, the inner diameter of the barrel mouth of type A barrel should be reduced to 545mm, and the inner diameter of the barrel mouth of type C barrel should be reduced to 536nm; type D barrel
Change the barrel mouth closure structure (round edge, barrel cover and closure hoop) to ensure that when the inner diameter of type A barrel is 571.5mm and the inner diameter of type C barrel is 566mm, the outer diameter of the barrel b)
does not exceed 585mm.
aUsually, the maximum outer diameter of the closure chain is 585mm, but if the nest measurement part contains a closure hoop pin, this value may be slightly larger. bIf the barrel cover is equipped with a closure device, the depth of the barrel cover should meet the requirement that the closure device is not higher than the closure hoop. The unit is mm.
A closure device can be installed on a barrel.
Note 1: The barrel cover can be convex, flat or flat. Note 2: The barrel body can be optional with three ring ribs.

The steel plate thickness is 0.6mm~1.6mm.
The steel barrel material complies with the provisions of GB/T325.1. The closure material complies with the provisions of GB/T13251. 5.2

The barrel body, barrel cover and barrel bottom should be made of steel plates of sufficient thickness according to the purpose of the steel barrel. GB/T 325.22010
The barrel body is strengthened by two ring ribs of expansion or rolling, as shown in Figure 1. Other permitted structures such as three ring ribs, or small corrugations instead of the third ring rib, may also be used. Note: Steel barrels with only two ring ribs are preferred. 6.4www.bzxz.net
The shape of the barrel cover and barrel bottom can be convex, flat or concave. The sealing ring of suitable material should be used for the full-open barrel cover seal. The structure of the closing hoop should be able to seal the steel barrel without damaging the barrel mouth. If a closure device is required to be added to the barrel cover, the following requirements should be met: a)
The position of the closure device on the barrel cover is shown in Figure 1. One injection port or one injection port and one vent port can be installed according to the supply and demand agreement;
The thread of the closure device should comply with the provisions of thread G3/4 and thread G2 in GB/T13251; Except for the provisions of the agreement between the supply and demand parties, the structure of the closure device should comply with the provisions of GB/T13251. Unless the closure device itself has leakproof performance, it should be equipped with a liner/gasket or other sealing element; metal or plastic barrel plugs should be equipped with a liner/gasket of suitable material.
