This standard is formulated to guide the scientific, reasonable and safe use of pesticides, effectively prevent and control crop diseases, insects and weeds, prevent the pesticide residues in agricultural products from exceeding the prescribed amount standards, protect the environment and safeguard human health. This standard is revised on the Guidelines for the Rational Use of Pesticides (II) (GB8321.2-1987), and is written in accordance with the format of Guidelines for the Rational Use of Pesticides (V) (GB/T8321.5-1997), in accordance with the MRI values ​​specified by my country and FAO/WHO, and in accordance with the application amount and application method in the 1999 Pesticide Registration Notice. 3.1 When preventing and controlling crop diseases, insect pests and weeds, the principle of "prevention first, comprehensive prevention and control" should be implemented conscientiously, and various effective non-chemical prevention and control methods should be actively adopted: When using chemical pesticides, local areas should adapt to local conditions and flexibly grasp them, but they should not exceed the application amount (concentration) and the maximum number of times specified in this standard; different types of pesticides should be used alternately. 3.2 Relevant departments in various places should do a good job in publicity and education, popularize scientific, rational and safe use of pesticides, and improve the quality of pesticide application personnel.
