This standard specifies the general principles and specific requirements for the method of sampling uf coal sample for production. This standard applies to the sampling of production coal samples in lignite, anthracite and anthracite production mines. This standard does not apply to the sampling of production coal samples in non-ferrous metal mines and water mining.2 Reference standards

3 General principles
GB48193
Replaces GR481-64
3.1 The production coal sample of the production mine must be taken under the normal production operation conditions of the coal seam and can represent the raw coal quality of the coal seam during the sampling period.
3.2 At the same time as the production coal sample is taken, the coal seam coal sample must be taken in accordance with the provisions of GB482. 4 Key points of sampling
4.1 Before sampling, the floating coal, grinding stones and debris left on the bottom plate by the previous shift should be carefully removed. 4.2 The sampling time of production coal samples must be based on one production day (cycle shift), and the number of sub-samples to be taken should be allocated to each production shift according to the production ratio.
4.3 Production coal samples are taken once a year (i.e. the sampling cycle is one year). For coal mining faces with a production period of less than two months, production coal samples may not be taken.
4.4 Production coal samples should be taken from the conveyor coal flow at the determined sampling point, and the coal samples taken should be shipped separately. For production mines without conveyors at the sampling point, other sampling methods can be used in accordance with the provisions of Article 4.2 of this standard, but it needs to be noted in the report. 4.5 When taking production coal samples from the conveyor coal flow, the coal of the entire section of the coal flow should be intercepted as a sub-sample. 4.6 Coal samples shall not be taken from trains, coal yards, coal bunkers or ship holds, nor shall they be dug up from coal cars. 4.7 When the coal seam properties, structures, storage conditions and mining methods of each coal mining face of the same coal seam in the same mine are basically the same, one coal mining face shall be selected to take production coal samples. If the differences are large, production coal samples shall be taken separately from different coal mining faces. 4.8 The number of sub-samples of production coal samples shall not be less than 30, and the mass of sub-samples shall not be less than 90kg. 4.9 The total mass of production coal samples may be determined according to the provisions of GB177 based on different uses. 4.10 The mass of coal samples weighed each time shall not be less than 1/5 of the maximum weighing capacity of the reinforced scale. The maximum weighing capacity of the scale is 500kg, and the sensitivity is 0.2kg. 4.11 When collecting, transporting and storing production coal samples, care should be taken to avoid coal sample breakage, contamination, sun exposure, rain exposure and loss. 4.12 The storage time of production coal samples shall not exceed three days. The placement time of easily weathered coal should be shortened as much as possible. 4.13 After the production coal sample is taken, the report form should be filled in immediately. The report form format is detailed in Appendix^ (reference). Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on 199302-19
