Particleboard
Part 7: Requirements for heavy-duty load-bearingboards for use in humid conditions
Particleboard--Part 7: Requirements for heavy-duty load-bearingboards for use in humid conditions2003-01-27 Issued by the People's Republic of China, implemented on May 1, 2003, GB/T4897.7—2003. GB/T4897 Particleboard is divided into seven parts: Part 1: Common requirements for all board types; Foreword: Part 2: Requirements for ordinary boards used in a dry state; Part 3: Requirements for household and interior decoration boards used in a dry state; Part 4: Requirements for structural boards used in a dry state; Part 5: Requirements for structural boards used in a wet state; Part 6: Requirements for reinforced structural boards used in a dry state; Part 7: Requirements for reinforced structural boards used in a wet state. This part is Part 7 of GB/T4897 Particleboard. This part adopts the European standard EN312-7:1997 particleboard part 7: requirements for reinforced structural boards used in wet conditions. The physical and chemical performance indicators are the same as EN312-7 except for the increase in surface bonding strength and screw holding force. The dimensional change test items are not listed in this part. The water resistance test chooses the internal bonding strength after boiling for 2 hours. Compared with the previous version (GB/T4897-1992), the important technical change of GB/T4897-2003 particleboard is that the original standard is divided into seven parts, among which the requirements for structural boards used in wet conditions and the requirements for reinforced structural boards used in wet conditions are newly added contents. This part is a newly added section, and its technical requirements are slightly higher than those of Part 5. This part is proposed by the State Administration of Industry and Information Technology.
This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Wood-Based Panels. The responsible drafting unit of this part: Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry. Participating drafting units of this part: Beijing Timber Factory, Hebei Saibo Board Industry Group. Main drafters of this part: Chen Shangying, Long Ling, Zheng Fengshan, Zhang Zhanhao. This part was first issued in February 1985, revised for the first time in August 1992, and this is the second revision. This part is entrusted to the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Wood-Based Panels for interpretation. GB/T 4897.7--2003
