According to the requirements of the State Planning Commission's Jizong [1986] No. 2630 and the Ministry of Construction's (90) Jianbiao Ji Zi No. 4, the "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Wiring Projects of 1kV and Below for Electrical Installation Engineering" and "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Electrical Lighting Installations for Electrical Installation Engineering" jointly revised by the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and relevant departments have been reviewed by relevant departments. The "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Wiring Engineering of 1kV and Below for Electrical Installation Engineering" GB50258-96 and "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Electrical Lighting Installation for Electrical Installation Engineering" GB50259-96 are now approved as mandatory national standards, which will be implemented from February 1, 1997. The 13th chapter "Wiring Engineering" and the 14th chapter "Electrical Lighting Installation" of the original national standard "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Electrical Installation Engineering" GBJ232-82 are abolished at the same time.
This specification is managed by the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, and the specific interpretation and other work is the responsibility of the Electric Power Construction Research Institute of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, and the publication and distribution is organized by the Standard and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction.

1 General Principles
1.0.1 This specification is formulated to ensure the construction quality of electrical lighting devices, promote technological progress, and ensure safe operation.
1.0.2 This specification applies to the construction and acceptance of electrical lighting installation projects in buildings and structures.
1.0.3 The installation of electrical lighting devices shall be carried out in accordance with the approved design. When the design is modified, it shall be carried out with the consent of the original design unit. 1.0.4 The equipment and instruments used and their transportation and storage shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standards; when there are special requirements for equipment and instruments, they shall also comply with the provisions of the product technical documents.
1.0.5 After the equipment and instruments arrive at the construction site, they shall be inspected in accordance with the following requirements: 1.0.5.1 The technical documents shall be complete.
1.0.5.2 The model, specification and appearance quality shall comply with the design requirements and the provisions of this specification.
1.0.6 The safety and technical measures during construction shall comply with the provisions of this specification and the current national standards and product technical documents.
1.0.7 Before the construction of electrical lighting devices, the construction project shall meet the following requirements: 1.0.7.1 Formwork and scaffolding that hinder the installation of lamps shall be removed; 1.0.7.2 Plastering work on ceilings, walls, etc. shall be completed, and ground cleaning work shall be completed. 1.0.8 After the construction of electrical lighting devices is completed, the local damaged parts of buildings and structures caused during the construction shall be repaired.
1.0.9 When installing electrical lighting devices in masonry structures, embedded hooks, bolts, screws, expansion bolts, nylon plugs or plastic plugs shall be used for fixing, and wooden wedges are strictly prohibited. When there is no provision in the design, the bearing capacity of the above-mentioned fixings shall match the weight of the electrical lighting device. 1.0.10 In dangerous and special dangerous places, when the height of the lamp from the ground is less than 2.4m, lighting lamps with a rated voltage of 36V or less should be used, or protective measures should be taken.
1.0.11 For electrical lighting devices installed on an insulating platform, the insulated end of the wire should extend out of the surface of the insulating platform.
1.0.12 The wiring of the electrical lighting device should be firm and the electrical contact should be good. Non-live metal parts such as lamps, switches, and sockets that need to be grounded or zeroed should have special grounding screws with obvious signs.

The wires leading from the overhead line to the street lamps should be waterproofed at the entrance of the lamps. 2.0.The installation of lighting transformers of 1136V and below shall meet the following requirements: 2.0.11.1 The power supply side shall be short-circuit protected, and the rated current of the fuse shall not be greater than the rated current of the transformer.
2.0.11.2 The shell, core and any end or neutral point of the low-voltage side shall be grounded or zeroed.
2.0.12 The wires of the lamps fixed on the mobile structure should be laid on the inner side of the mobile frame. When the mobile frame is moving, the wires should not be subjected to tension and wear. 2.0.13 When the weight of the chandelier is greater than 3kg, it shall be fixed by embedded hooks or bolts. The "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Wiring Engineering of 1kV and Below for Electrical Installation Engineering" GB50258-96 and "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Electrical Lighting Installation for Electrical Installation Engineering" GB50259-96 are now approved as mandatory national standards, which will be implemented from February 1, 1997. 1 General Principles
1.0.1 This specification is formulated to ensure the construction quality of electrical lighting devices, promote technological progress, and ensure safe operation.
1.0.2 This specification applies to the construction and acceptance of electrical lighting installation projects in buildings and structures.
1.0.3 The installation of electrical lighting devices shall be carried out in accordance with the approved design. When the design is modified, it shall be carried out with the consent of the original design unit. 1.0.4 The equipment and instruments used and their transportation and storage shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standards; when there are special requirements for equipment and instruments, they shall also comply with the provisions of the product technical documents.
1.0.5 After the equipment and instruments arrive at the construction site, they shall be inspected in accordance with the following requirements: 1.0.5.1 The technical documents shall be complete.
1.0.5.2 The model, specification and appearance quality shall comply with the design requirements and the provisions of this specification.
1.0.6 The safety and technical measures during construction shall comply with the provisions of this specification and the current national standards and product technical documents.
1.0.7 Before the construction of electrical lighting devices, the construction project shall meet the following requirements: 1.0.7.1 Formwork and scaffolding that hinder the installation of lamps shall be removed; 1.0.7.2 Plastering work on ceilings, walls, etc. shall be completed, and ground cleaning work shall be completed. 1.0.8 After the construction of electrical lighting devices is completed, the local damaged parts of buildings and structures caused during the construction shall be repaired.
1.0.9 When installing electrical lighting devices in masonry structures, embedded hooks, bolts, screws, expansion bolts, nylon plugs or plastic plugs shall be used for fixing, and wooden wedges are strictly prohibited. When there is no provision in the design, the bearing capacity of the above-mentioned fixings shall match the weight of the electrical lighting device. 1.0.10 In dangerous and special dangerous places, when the height of the lamp from the ground is less than 2.4m, lighting lamps with a rated voltage of 36V or less should be used, or protective measures should be taken.
