This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of carbon steel elbows, reducers and three-way joints (hereinafter referred to as pipe joints).
This standard is applicable to the joints that are connected to the pipeline in the corresponding pipe system. 2 Reference standards

3 Product classification
3.1 The types of pipe joints are specified as follows:
ES type - short bending radius elbow
EL type - long bending radius elbow
RC type - concentric reducer+
RE type - eccentric reducer;
TS type - intermediate diameter tee joint!
TR type—reducing tee joint.
