The grooves specified in this standard are applicable to all cranes' cast drums and welded drums (hereinafter referred to as drums) except for multi-layer winding and electric hoist drums
The groove bottom radius R of this standard is determined based on the maximum allowable deviation of the nominal diameter d of the wire rope of +7%. When the wire rope is wound into or out of the drum, the angle of its deviation from each side of the spiral groove should not be greater than 1°. 2 Referenced standards

3 Drum diameter
The drum diameter D generally adopts the values in Table 1. Table 1
4 Drum shape
The drum groove is divided into standard groove and deepened groove. The dimensions are detailed in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Table 2. The surface roughness Ra value of the groove is divided into two levels: Level 1: 6.3μm; Level 2: 12.5μm. Marking example:
a) The groove bottom radius R=10mm, the groove pitch P, =20mm, and the standard groove with a surface accuracy of level 1 are marked as: groove 10X20—1 JB/T9006.1-1999b) The groove bottom radius R of the drum groove is 10mm, the groove distance P is -24mm, and the surface accuracy is level 2. The deepened groove is marked as: Deep groove 10×24-2JB/T9006.1--1999Approved by the State Machinery Industry Bureau on June 28, 1999Implementation on January 1, 2000
