Summary:

This standard specifies the basic principles of equipment and pipeline cold insulation design, performance requirements and selection principles of cold insulation materials and main auxiliary materials, cold insulation calculation, cold insulation structure and its main construction technical requirements. This standard applies to the cold insulation design of general low-temperature equipment, pipelines and their accessories1) with outer wall surface temperature lower than ambient temperature to 77K. This standard does not apply to the cold insulation design of buildings and equipment facilities or parts with special professional requirements.
