Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the basic contents of review of design documents such as the engineering material selection regulations compiled by the material specialty and the engineering standards, regulations and instructions related to materials, and is applicable to design quality assurance work. 2 Detailed Rules for Self-Review and Verification
2.0.1 Verification of Design Document Integrity
Check whether the acceptance conditions are complete, whether they are the latest version, and whether they are signed as required. 1
Check whether the design documents are complete and whether they are written in accordance with the requirements of "Content Depth and Format Requirements for Engineering Material Selection Regulations" and "Content Depth and Format Requirements for Engineering Standards, Regulations and Instructions". 2.0.2 Verification of Engineering Material Selection Regulations
1 Verify whether the design conditions based on which the Engineering Material Selection Regulations are prepared are consistent with the accepted conditions, that is, whether the materials selected for the process equipment are determined according to the design conditions (material composition and characteristics, design pressure, design temperature, operating pressure, operating temperature and material corrosiveness, etc.). 2 Verify whether the specified minimum corrosion margin of the material is reasonable, and whether the necessary restrictions and precautions (such as the restriction requirements on the content of harmful media in the material, etc.) are appropriate. 3 Verify whether the selected materials are explained or specifically stipulated in the Engineering Material Selection Regulations when there are welding, inspection, construction, intergranular corrosion tests and other requirements. 4 Verify whether the selected material grades and requirements meet the relevant material standards or technical conditions (national, industry or enterprise standards). The current latest version of the standards or technical conditions shall prevail. 5 Verify whether the selected special materials meet the requirements. 6 Verify whether all equipment names and position numbers in the Engineering Material Selection Regulations are consistent with the process flow chart, and whether there are omissions and errors.
7 Check whether the project name, project number, device/main item name, design time, edition, etc. are correct. 2.0.3 Check the design documents such as engineering standards, regulations and instructions related to materials. 1 Check whether the basis for preparing the design documents is consistent with the requirements or regulations in the "Regulations on the Selection of Engineering Materials", that is, whether it meets the process requirements for materials.
