Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China Standard GDB-221 Photomultiplier Tube
SJ2384-83
This standard applies to GDB-221 photomultiplier tubes (hereinafter referred to as photomultiplier tubes). The tube adopts soda-lime glass light window, side window opaque potassium photocathode and in-line electrostatic focusing multiplication system, with 8-stage multiplier poles. The spectral response range of the tube is 300~700nm, and the peak wavelength is 420±20nm. It is used as an instrument to convert weak light signals into electrical signals, especially suitable for fax machines, photographic exposure machines and photo machines.
This standard is a supplement to the general technical conditions for photomultiplier tubes (SJ1335-78). In addition to the contents specified in this standard, the other provisions related to the tube in the general technical conditions shall be implemented. 1 The external dimensions and electrode wiring of the photomultiplier tube shall comply with the provisions of the external dimensions and electrode wiring diagram (Article 2 of SJ1335-78) 2 The parameter specifications of the photomultiplier tube shall comply with the provisions of the parameter specification table. 3 When testing the photoelectric parameters, use the following voltage divider:
Note: R represents the voltage divider resistance, and the value can be 100k2~1MQ. R
4 When conducting photoelectric parameter testing and stability tests, the diameter of the cathode light receiving surface should be ensured to be 4.5mm. R
5 The effective working part of the photomultiplier tube light window should be clear, and no bubbles, sand spots, scratches and other defects are allowed (Article 3 of SJ1335-78).
6 The deviation angle between the axis of the tube base and the axis of the photomultiplier tube is not greater than 3° (Article 12 of SJ1335-78). 7 Assessment of the mechanical strength of the photomultiplier tube (Article 15 of SJ1335-78) 7.1 During the vibration test, the vibration frequency is 50Hz, the acceleration is 49, and the photomultiplier tube axis is vibrated for 30 minutes in the horizontal and vertical directions. During the test, the photomultiplier tube is in a non-working state. After the test, the photoelectric parameters should meet the requirements of items 2, 3, and 4 in the parameter specification table.
7.2 During the impact test, the impact frequency is 80 times/min, the acceleration is 129, and the photomultiplier tube axis is impacted for 5 minutes in the horizontal and vertical directions. During the test, the photomultiplier tube is in a non-working state. After the test, the photoelectric parameters should meet the requirements of items 2, 3, and 4 in the parameter specification table.
8 The weight of the unpackaged photomultiplier tube shall not exceed 45g (Article 16 of SJ1335-78). 9 Climate test (Article 37 of SJ1335-78) 9.1 High temperature test is carried out in non-operating state. After the test, the photoelectric parameters shall meet the requirements of Items 2, 3 and 4 in the parameter specification table. 9.2 Low temperature test is carried out in non-operating state. The test temperature is -40±3℃. After the test, the photoelectric parameters shall meet the requirements of Items 9 and 10 in the parameter specification table.
10 Routine test is carried out once a quarter, with a quantity of 5 (Articles 43 and 44 of SJ1335-78). 11 Life test is carried out once a year, with a quantity of 5 (Articles 47 and 48 of SJ1335-78). Issued by the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on September 29, 1983 and implemented on May 1, 1984
