This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China and is under the jurisdiction of the Standardization Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. This standard was initiated by the Standardization Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, Shanghai Hydraulic Accessories Factory, Changchun Automobile Research Institute, and Shanghai Hydraulic and Pneumatic Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Hu Lusheng, Li Ningning, and Zhang Qianlong. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original ministry standard JB1934-77 "Flared pressure gauge pipe joint body" shall be invalidated.
