QB/T 2141.2 --1995
This standard specifies the environmental conditions, instruments, test materials, test steps and determination of sharpness for the sharpness test of daily knives. This standard applies to the sharpness test of daily knives. Special knives can also be used as a reference. 2 Reference Standards
GB/T451.1 Method for Determination of Size and Deflection of Paper and Paperboard GB/T451.2 Method for Determination of Quantity of Paper and Paperboard GB/T451.3 Method for Determination of Thickness of Paper and Paperboard 3 Terminology
3.1 Cutting Edge: The part where the two sides of the knife blade intersect. 3.2 Sharpness: The ability of the knife edge to cut objects. 4 Test Environmental Conditions
4.1 Ambient Temperature: 0℃~38℃.
4.2 Relative humidity of environment: 30%~85%.
5 Instruments
5.1 Use daily knife sharpness tester (see Appendix A). 5.2 Accessories of sharpness tester (see Appendix B). 6 Test materials
6.1 Use 100g paper conforming to GB/T451.1451.3. 6.2 Paper width 8+0.1mm, length 100mm.
6.3 Bind into books, 20 pages per book, numbered in sequence. 6.4 Store in a dryer, avoid moisture. 7 Test method and operation steps
Choice of test points
Measure two points for each knife. When the blade length L is greater than or equal to 50mm, the position of the test point is shown in Figure 1; when the blade length L is less than 50mm, the position of the test point is shown in Figure 2. For knives that cannot be tested according to the above regulations, other test points can be selected. Approved by China National Light Industry Association on August 8, 1995

8.1 Convert the sum of the cut lengths of each layer of coated paper into the number of layers (accurate to one tenth of a layer) as the measured value for this time. 8.2 Take the arithmetic mean of the measured values of each knife as the sharpness value of the knife. 122

B1.1 Purpose: The standard cutter is used to verify the accuracy of the daily knife sharpness tester. B1.2 The use and storage of standard cutters should be strictly in accordance with the regulations (for regulations, see the instructions for use of daily knife sharpness tester). B2 Level gauge
B2.1 Purpose: The level gauge is used to adjust the blade and estimate the position. B2.2 The use and storage of the level gauge should be strictly in accordance with the regulations (for regulations, see the instructions for use of daily knife sharpness tester). Additional notes:
