3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 Fibers
A general term for fibers such as cotton, wool, velvet, yellow silk, and chemical fibers for textiles used as fillings. 3.2 Wadding fiber products
A general term for bedding, clothing and other household items filled with wadding fibers. 3.3 Impurities
A general term for non-surgical fiber materials.
4 Requirements
4.1 Raw material requirements
4.1.1 It is strictly prohibited to use used medical cotton and medical gauze, industrial waste, cotton linters, domestic garbage, waste clothing or their recycled products and other materials that may harm human health as medical fibers, and toxic and deteriorated medical fibers shall not be used. 4.1.2 The cotton fiber used for wadding shall be grade 6 or above lint cotton in accordance with the requirements of GB1103, of which the length is 16mm (including 16mm) or less. Approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China on August 1, 2001 and implemented on September 1, 2001. The content of cotton fiber shall not exceed 15%. 4.1.3 The wool and down fibers used for wadding shall be selected wool and down. 4.1.4 All wadding fibers shall not be bleached. 4.2 Qualification requirements GB 183B3—2001
4.2.1 The appearance of cotton fiber for filling shall meet the requirements of grade 6 and above lint in GB1103 standard, with loose fibers and even distribution. 4.2.2 Non-cotton fibers for filling shall be loose and evenly distributed. 4.3 Impurity rate
The impurity rate of cotton fiber for plain use shall be less than or equal to 1.4%; the impurity rate of non-cotton fiber for filling shall be less than or equal to 2.0%. 4.4 Other quality requirements not listed shall be implemented in accordance with relevant national standards and industry standards. 4.5 Hygiene requirements||t t||4.5.1 Pathogenic bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and hemolytic Streptococcus shall not be detected. 4.5.2 No adverse stimulation to the skin and mucous membranes shall be produced, causing no adverse reactions. 4.5.3 Meat observation shall not detect eggs, ticks, bedbugs and other arthropods and bee egg clips that may spread diseases and endanger health. 4.5.4 There shall be no abnormal odor.
5 Sampling
5.1 Sampling method
The sampling shall be representative and shall be randomly selected from multiple points. 5.2 Number of samples
5. 2.1 Sampling quantity of fiber for filling
Sampling and inspection of fiber for filling shall be carried out on a batch basis. For bulk fiber for filling, 1% of its weight shall be sampled but the minimum amount shall not be less than 1g: For fiber for package: if there are less than 5 packages, one package shall be sampled for every 20 packages added; if there are less than 20 packages, it shall be counted as 20 packages, and the sampling quantity of each package shall not be less than 300g. 5.2.2 Sampling quantity of fiber products for filling
For those with existing sampling standards, the sampling shall be carried out according to the standards. For those without sampling standards, 2% of the batch shall be sampled but no less than 2 pieces. 6 Inspection methods
6.1 Inspection of sanitation and safety indicators
