This standard applies to the brake system of horizontal axis grid-connected wind turbine generator sets, which is composed of an air brake device combined with a mechanical brake device in the transmission system, and a brake system composed of a low-speed shaft mechanical brake device combined with a high-speed mechanical brake device in the transmission system.
