A1 combined bearing actual width Deviation AT. (See Figure A1) Use block gauges or standard parts to compare measurements. The combined bearing is supported by three fulcrums at three equal parts of the center circle of the raceway 4 on the bottom surface of one shaft ring of the combined bearing. The probe is located on the bottom surface of the other shaft ring directly above the fulcrum for measurement. Measure several positions along the circumference and take the average.
