This standard adopts the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) publication 454-3-2 (first edition 1981) Specification for Electrical Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tape Part 3: Single Material Specification Part 2: "Requirements for Polyester (PETP) Film Adhesive Bars Coated with Thermosetting Adhesive". 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyester film pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes (hereinafter referred to as adhesive tapes) for electrical use with thermosetting adhesives. 4.1 Appearance
The appearance shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 4 of JB/T5969. 4.2 Dimensions
4.2.1 Width and deviation
The width and deviation shall comply with the provisions of Article 5.2 of JB/T5969, 4.2.2 Length
The length shall comply with the provisions of Article 5.3 of JB/T5969. 4.2.3 Thickness and deviation
The preferred nominal thickness is 0.02~0.1mm. The thickness deviation is ±15% or ±0.01mm, and the larger absolute value of the two is selected as the allowable deviation.
Performance of adhesive tape
The performance of adhesive tape shall comply with the provisions of Table 1,
Test method
When there is no special test condition, the sample shall be pre-treated and tested according to the requirements of Chapter 3 of JB/T5970. 5.1 Appearance

The temperature index of the material is determined according to the method in Chapter 8 of JB/T5970. The recommended aging temperature is: 150℃, 160℃ and 180℃. The failure standard adopted is electrical strength: 35MV/m, calculated based on the original thickness. 5.5

6.1 The recommended factory inspection items are Items 7, 8, and 10 in Table 1 of 4.1.4.2 and 4.3 of this standard. 6.2 In the case that the composition and manufacturing process have not changed, the determined product temperature index is always valid, and the marking, packaging, transportation and storage
should comply with the provisions of JB/T5969 on marking, packaging, transportation and storage. The storage temperature and relative humidity limit values refer to the maximum values caused by climate change, and are not the highest conditions allowed for continuous storage. Additional notes:
