This standard specifies the ultraviolet spectroscopic determination method for the plasticizer dibutyl phthalate (BP) and dioctyl phthalate (DP) in cast organic glass (polymethyl methacrylate). This standard is applicable to the determination of the plasticizer DBP or DOP content in cast elastic transparent organic glass. 2 Principle
Dibutyl phthalate or dioctyl phthalate in chloroform solution has a characteristic absorption peak at a wavelength of 275nm under the action of ultraviolet light, which conforms to the L. Ramhert Beer law within a certain concentration range. The absorbance of chloroform in the glass sample is measured at 275nm, and the content of dibutyl phthalate or dioctyl phthalate is calculated by the working curve method.
3 Reagents
3.1 DBP: maximum concentration
3.2 DOP: content greater than 90%,
3.3 Methyl chloride, analytical grade,bzxz.net
3.4 Standard solution:
3.4.1 Weigh 0.05-0.07g of 1H1 (3.1) to the accuracy of 0.0001g, place in a 50ml volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with methyl chloride (3.3), mix, and the result is DBP standard solution. 3.4.2 Weigh 0.05-0.07g of DOP (3.2) to the accuracy of 0.0001g, place in a 50ml volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with methyl chloride (3.3), and the result is DOP standard solution. 4. UV spectrophotometer.
5 The sample
should be particles or powders randomly taken from the organic glass. 6 Determination steps
6.1 Drawing line
Pipette 0.5.1.0, 1.5.2.0, 3.0ml of D13P standard solution (3.4.1), and dilute it to 25ml volume. Dilute it with trichloroethylene (3.3) without scale, mix it, and calculate the IBP concentration (mg/1) of each dilution. Take trifluoromethane used to prepare the standard solution (GB9346-88 approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on May 13, 1988 and implemented on February 1, 1989) as a reference, and record the absorbance of each solution at a wavelength of 275nm. Draw a DBPT curve with the concentration of DB1 as the horizontal axis and the absorbance as the vertical axis.
Take 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 ml of DOP standard solution (3.4.2), repeat the above operation, and draw a DOP curve. 6.2 Determination
6.2.1 Weigh 0.03~0.08% of the sample, and make it accurate to 0.0001g, and place it in a 25ml volumetric flask, add 15~20ml of chloroform (3.3), and after the sample is completely dissolved, dilute it to the scale with chloroform and mix it. 6.2.2 Transfer part of the solution to be tested (6.2.1) into a 10mm quartz colorimetric glass, using the chloroform dissolved in the sample as the ratio, and measure its absorbance at a wavelength of 275m on a UV spectrophotometer under the conditions corresponding to the curve drawn above, and find the corresponding DHP or DOP concentration (mg/!) from the working curve.
7 Calculation of results
Calculate the percentage of plasticizer DBP or DOP as follows: c +× 10-4

8 Allowable difference
8.1 For samples with a DBP content of 2% to 13%, the allowable difference between two repeated measurements should not be greater than 0.14%. 8.2 For samples with a DBP content of 2% to 13%, the allowable difference between the values measured once in each laboratory should not be greater than 0.33%. 8.3 For samples with a DOP content of 0.5% to 5.0%, the allowable difference between two repeated measurements and the allowable difference between the values measured once in each laboratory should not be greater than the values listed in the following table.
