This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection rules for rotating shaft cylindrical wheels for cranes JB/ T 6392.2.-.92

3.1 Material
The material of rolled wheels should not be lower than 60 steel specified in GB699. Forged wheel materials, wheels with a tread diameter not greater than 400 mml should be no less than 45 steel specified in GB699; wheels with a tread diameter greater than 400 mm should be no less than 55 steel.
The cast wheel material should be no less than ZG340-640 steel specified in GB11352. 3.2 Heat treatment
