4 Application and Performance
4.1 Gear Shaping Machine
The type of machine tool is shown in Figure 2.

Gear Shaping Machine is a basic series. The machine tool is suitable for the single-piece, small-batch and batch production of internal and external meshing cylindrical gears in the machinery manufacturing industry. The machine tool should have the following performance characteristics:
a) It can automatically change the cutting amount according to the requirements of rough cutting or fine cutting during the processing; b) It is equipped with a hydraulic clamping device for the workpiece.
The accuracy of the machine tool should comply with the provisions of GB/T4686. The machine tool is a V-level accuracy machine tool specified in JB/T9871-1999. According to the user's special order, the following special accessories can be provided to expand the performance of the machine tool: a) Spiral guide rails for processing helical gears;
b) Accessories for processing racks:
c) Tailstock center for processing shaft gears:
d) Tool upper stop function device.
4.2 Light gear shaping machine
The light gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from the base type with an enlarged worktable diameter and bed length. 4.3 High-speed gear shaping machine
High-speed gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from the basic model with improved cutting speed. It is suitable for mass production in the machinery manufacturing industry and can process cylindrical gears with internal and external meshing.
4.4 Automatic gear shaping machine
Automatic gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from the basic model with automatic loading and unloading mechanism. It is suitable for mass production in the machinery manufacturing industry and can be automatically processed by a single machine or included in automatic line production. It is used to process cylindrical gears with internal and external meshing. 4.5 Precision gear shaping machine
Precision gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from the basic model with improved accuracy. Except that the processing accuracy of the machine tool is higher than that of the basic model, everything else is the same as the basic model.

Rack gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from the basic model by replacing the workbench. It is suitable for single-piece, small-batch and batch production of racks in the machinery manufacturing industry.
The machine tool has the same performance as the basic model except that the maximum workpiece diameter is changed to the maximum workpiece length and there is no hydraulic clamping device for the workpiece. The machine tool accuracy should comply with the provisions of JB/T5571. The machine tool is a V-level accuracy machine tool specified in JB/T9871-1999. 4.7 CNC gear shaping machine
CNC gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from the basic model with a CNC system installed. The machine tool is suitable for single-piece, small-batch and batch production in the machinery manufacturing industry. It can process internal and external meshing cylindrical gears, non-cylindrical gears and cams. In addition to the performance characteristics of the basic series, the machine tool should also have the following performance characteristics: The main movement has a computer digital control system that can implement multi-axis joint movement and independent movement. The machine tool accuracy shall comply with the provisions of JB/T5572, and the machine tool shall be a Class V precision machine tool as specified in JB/T9871-1999. 4.8 Taper gear shaping machine
Taper gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from a base model with a tiltable worktable installed. In addition to the performance characteristics of the base model, the machine tool can also process taper gears by tilting the worktable. 4.9 Heightened gear shaping machine
Heightened gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from a base model with a heightened column. The other structures and parts of the machine tool are the same as the base model. 4.10 Increased stroke gear shaping machine
Increased stroke gear shaping machine is a modified machine tool derived from a base model with an increased tool stroke. Except for the heightened column and increased tool stroke, the machine tool is the same as the base model.
