This standard applies to the transportation organization and management of combined transport enterprises, transport enterprises and relevant departments. The formulation of relevant technical rules and regulations shall comply with this standard.
2 Combined transport
2.1 Combined transport (combined transport is the abbreviation of combined transport) combined transport operator is a form of cargo transportation organization in which a transport enterprise completes the transportation task with a single transport contract, using two or more modes of transport, or different transport enterprises in accordance with unified regulations or agreements. 2.2 Domestic combined transport is a form of cargo transportation organization in which a single document is used to complete the combined transport task within the country, and the carrier is responsible for the entire process. 2.3 International combined transport International combined transport A form of freight transport organization in which combined transport business is completed internationally with two documents and the combined transport operator is responsible for the entire process. 2.4 Multimodal transport A form of transport organization in which two or more modes of transport are used to achieve combined transport of goods. 2.5 Combined transport operator An economic entity with certain personnel, technical equipment and funds that can undertake combined transport business. 3.1 Trunk line cumbined transport A form of transport organization that completes the combined transport of goods on the main transport lines among various modes of transport. 3.2 Trunk line-hranch line combined transport A form of transport organization that completes the combined transport of goods on the main and non-main routes among various modes of transport. 3.3 Land-water combined transport A form of transport organization that completes the combined transport business by water and land. 3.4 Combined transport of carload lot cargo A form of transport organization that completes the combined transport business by completing the consignment procedures according to certain requirements when the batch of goods meets the relevant regulations on the type, weight, volume or shape of goods.
3.5 Combined transport of LCL cargc A form of transport organization that completes the combined transport business by completing the consignment procedures according to certain requirements when the batch of goods does not meet the regulations on the combined transport of bulk goods.
