This standard specifies the reference equivalent threshold sound pressure levels (RETSPLs) of pure tones in the frequency range of 125 Hz to 8 000 Hz, applicable to the calibration of air conduction audiometric equipment equipped with a special type of over-ear headphones (SENNHEISER HDA 200).

This part is equivalent to ISO389-8:2004 "Reference zero level for acoustic calibration of audiometric equipment Part 8: Reference equivalent threshold sound pressure level of pure tone for over-ear headphones" (English version).
This part makes editorial changes to the international standards that are equivalent to the international standards.
Appendices A, B and C of this part are informative appendices.
