4.1 Test site
The area of ​​the test site should be at least 50% larger than the bottom area of ​​the test sample, so that the test sample is within the spraying area. If it is necessary to control the temperature of the test site, the site can be insulated or heated. The site floor should be equipped with a grid floor and a drainage port of sufficient capacity so that the sprayed water can be automatically drained away and the test sample will not be soaked in water. The height of the test site should be appropriate so that the distance between the water nozzle and the top of the test package is at least 2m to ensure that the water can drip vertically.
4.2 Spraying device
The spraying device should meet the water spraying rate of 100±20L/(m2·h). The sprayed water should be fully uniform, and the height of the nozzle should be adjustable so that the distance between the nozzle and the top of the test sample can be at least 2m. 5 Calibration

Select a condition for pretreatment in accordance with the requirements of GB/T4857.2. If the same conditions cannot be achieved, the test must be carried out under atmospheric conditions that are as close as possible.
6.4 Test steps
6.4.1 Adjust the height of the nozzle so that the distance between the nozzle and the nearest point on the top of the test package is at least 2m. Turn on the nozzle until the entire system reaches a balanced state. Unless otherwise specified, the temperature of the water spray and the test site temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C. 6.4.2 After the water sprayed by the entire system reaches stability, place the test sample. 6.4.3 Place the test sample in the center of the test site so that water can fall on the test sample according to the calibration standard and spray continuously for a predetermined time.
6.4.4 Check the tested package and its contents to see if there is any degradation of waterproof performance or water seepage. 7 Test Report
The test report should include the following contents:
The name, specification, model, quantity, etc. of the contents of the package: the number of test samples;
Detailed description of the name, size, structure and material specifications of the packaging container, accessories, cushioning pads, supports, fixing methods, seals, bundling status and other protective measures
The mass of the test samples and contents, in kilograms; the name and code of the standards cited during the test: the temperature, relative humidity and time during the temperature and humidity adjustment treatment, the temperature of the test site and the temperature of the water; the location of the package on the test site;
The name and model of the equipment and instruments used in the test; the duration of the test;
The record of the test results, and any phenomena observed that can help to correctly interpret the test results; the test date, the signature of the test personnel, and the seal of the testing unit. 277
