3 Terms
3.1 Pure grain rate: The percentage of the net sample weight minus one-half the weight of imperfect grains in the sample weight. 3.2 Imperfect grains: grains that are imperfect but still have edible value, including the following: 3.2.1 Unripe grains: grains that are not full, wrinkled to more than half of the grain surface, and significantly different from normal grains. 3.2.2 Diseased grains: grains with diseased spots on the grain surface and damaged cotyledons. 3.2.3 Broken grains: grains with incomplete, cross-sectioned, or broken cotyledons. 3.2.4 Budded grains: grains with buds or young roots breaking through the seed coat. 3.2.5 Deteriorated grains: grains with raw or deteriorated grain surfaces or deteriorated cotyledons. 3.3 Insect-eaten grains: grains that are eaten by insects and have damaged cotyledons. 3.4 Impurities: substances that pass through the specified sieve layer and have no use value, including the following: 3.4.1 Screened material: substances that pass through a 3.0mm diameter round hole sieve. 3.4.2 Inorganic impurities: soil, sand, gravel, bricks and tiles and other inorganic substances. 3.4.3 Organic impurities: peas with no edible value, foreign grains and other organic matter. 3.5 Odor and taste: the comprehensive color and odor of the peas. 4 Classification
According to the color of the seed coat of peas, they are divided into the following three categories: 4.1 White peas: peas with white, milky white and pink seed coats account for 95% or more. 4.2 Other pure color peas: peas with the same seed coat color account for 95% or more. 4.3 Variegated peas: peas that do not meet the above two categories. Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China on March 9, 19891.46

5 Quality indicators

5.1 Various types of peas are classified according to the net grain pure grain rate. The quality indicators of each grade are shown in the following table: Grade

5.2 All types of peas are priced according to the second grade. Quality
5.3 The limit of insect-damaged grains is 5.0%. The treatment method for the part exceeding the limit shall be stipulated by each province and autonomous region. 5.4 Sanitary indicators: in accordance with GB2715 and relevant regulations. 5.5 Plant quarantine: implemented in accordance with relevant national regulations. 6 Inspection methods
Pickup and sub-sampling of pea samples: in accordance with GB5491. 6.1
6.2 Classification inspection: in accordance with GB5493.
6.3 Inspection of pure grain rate and impurities: in accordance with GB5494, color, air spider
6.4 Inspection of insect-damaged grains: from the samples of grains that have not been inspected, 100 grains are selected as samples without selection, and the insect-damaged grains are first identified by appearance. If the appearance identification is not satisfactory, the grains are then shaved for inspection. The percentage of insect-damaged grains is calculated according to the following formula. Insect-damaged grains (%) = quantity × 100
