This standard specifies the relevant terms and definitions, requirements, test methods and requirements for signs, labels, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of shoot corn. 3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1
Shoot corn
A type of corn with fresh young ears (harvested before or after silking, young female ears without bulging grains, shaped like bamboo shoots) as edible parts, different from corn for grain and silage.
