The surface of steel ladders should be smooth, and there should be no skew, twist, deformation or other defects when assembled. The positive deviation of the weight of steel ladders should not exceed 5%, and there is no regulation for negative deviation. Steel ladders should be painted with anti-rust primer.
Steel ladders should be inspected and accepted by the technical inspection department of the manufacturer. Each ladder should have the following marks:
Manufacturer name or trademark;
Product model and standard number, such as: C400×3600 production batch number,
Inspection pass seal.

From the date of implementation of this standard, the original standards CB73-75 "Straight Ladder" and CBM2004-81 "Straight Ladder" will be invalid. This standard refers to JISF2602-1978 "Steel Vertical Ladder". The main differences between it and ISO3797-76 and JISF2602-78 are: the ladder length of this standard is 0.6~6m, ISO3797-76 and JISF2602-78 are unlimited, the ladder width of this standard is 300, 350, 400mm (same as ISO3797--76), but the ladder width of JISF2602-78 is 250, 300, 350mm; there are also slight differences in materials. 77
