Summary:
This standard specifies the metallographic inspection method for the carbon content of the carburized surface of heavy-duty internal gears. This standard is applicable to steel parts such as 20CrMnTi, 20CrMnMo, 20CrNi3Mo, 15CrNi3Mo, 10Cr12Bu4, etc. Other steel types can be implemented as a reference. This standard is a metallographic method for controlling the carbon content of the surface of parts during carburizing. Unqualified parts are discovered during the heat treatment process so that process parameters can be adjusted in time to ensure product quality.
