This standard specifies the flange dimensions of flanged outer rings for metric tapered roller bearings. Other dimensions of outer rings and complete bearings are specified in GB/T 297 "Rolling bearings - Tapered roller bearing dimensions". This standard applies to the outer rings of flanged tapered roller bearings. The flange dimensions of flanged outer ring bearings not included in this standard are specified in Appendix A (Appendix to the standard). This standard is revised according to ISO355:1977/Add.2:1980 "Metric tapered roller bearings GB4648-84" and is equivalent to the international standard in terms of technical content.
Compared with GB4648--84, the main change in the bearing code of this standard is in accordance with GB/T272--93 "Rolling bearing code method".
From the date of entry into force, this standard will replace GB4648-84. Appendix A of this standard is the appendix of the standard.
This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Rolling Bearings.
