This standard applies to the purchase, sale, allocation, storage, addition and withdrawal of commercial tung oil. 1 Technical requirements
Tung oil should have the following characteristic constants:
1.1 Specific gravity (20/4C): 0.9360-0.9395.1.2 Refractive index (20℃): 1.5185~1.5225.1.3 Iodine value (Weigu method): 163~173.1.4 Saponification value: 190~195.

2.1 The grade index of tung oil is shown in the following table:

3 Inspection method

3.1 The sampling of tung oil samples shall be carried out in accordance with GB5524-85 "Testing and splitting of samples for testing vegetable oils and fats". 3.2 The determination of specific gravity shall be carried out in accordance with GB5526--85 "Determination of specific gravity for testing vegetable oils and fats". 3.3 The determination of refractive index shall be carried out in accordance with GB5527-85 "Determination of refractive index for testing vegetable oils and fats". 3.4 The determination of iodine value shall be carried out in accordance with GB5532-85 "Determination of iodine value for testing vegetable oils and fats". 3.5 The determination of electrochemical value shall be carried out in accordance with GB5534-85 "Determination of saponification value for inspection of vegetable oils and fats". 3.6 The thermal polymerization test (Washington test) shall be carried out in accordance with GB5539-85 "Qualitative test for inspection of vegetable oils and fats". 3.7 The identification of color, transparency and odor shall be carried out in accordance with GB5525-85 "Identification method for transparency, color, odor and taste for inspection of vegetable oils and fats".
3.8 The determination of acid value shall be carried out in accordance with GB5530-85 "Determination of acid value for inspection of vegetable oils and fats". The determination of moisture and volatiles shall be carried out in accordance with GB5528-85 "Determination of moisture and volatiles for inspection of vegetable oils and fats". 3.9
The determination of impurities shall be carried out in accordance with GB5529-85 "Determination of impurities for inspection of vegetable oils and fats". 3.10wwW.bzxz.Net
β-palm oil test shall be carried out in accordance with GB5539--85 "Qualitative test for inspection of vegetable oils and fats". 3.11
The adulteration test of tung oil shall be carried out in accordance with GB5539-85. Packaging, transportation and storage
The packaging, transportation and storage of tung oil must meet the requirements of quality assurance, quantity assurance, transportation safety and graded storage. Tung oil containers must have obvious "Tung Oil" logos. The gross weight, net weight and ex-factory date must be indicated. Additional remarks:
