General Principles of Classification and Code of Mechanical Manufacturing Process Methods 3.1 Classification of large categories and medium categories
The division of heat treatment process methods into large categories and medium categories shall be in accordance with the provisions of JB/T5992.1. 3.2 Division of subcategories
3.2.1 The overall heat treatment subcategory is divided according to the metallographic structure obtained after heat treatment. 3.2.2

Surface heat treatment subcategory is based on the surface metallographic structure obtained after heat treatment and the acquisition of surface deposited elements or compound layers method of division. The chemical heat treatment subcategory is mainly divided according to the access elements. 3.3 Subdivision classification
Annealing Process method division
Rate fire is divided according to cooling medium, cooling method and heating method. Tempering is divided according to heating temperature
Surface floating fire is divided according to heating method.
Carburizing, nitriding and boronizing are divided according to the heating medium. Infiltrated metals and multiple elements are divided according to the element of penetration. Solubilization is divided by heating method.
