This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 External impurities
External impurities refer to non-diamond substances in artificial diamond materials or non-cubic boron nitride materials in cubic boron nitride materials. It is expressed as a percentage of particles.
4 Inspection method
4.1 Equipment and tools
Solid microscope (100×)
Glass slide, blade, counter
4.2 Sampling
Shrunk the material to be inspected to about 1g according to the method specified in JB/T3914, and then took an appropriate amount (at least 500 particles) and placed it on the slide, and scraped the sample into a straight line with a blade for inspection.
4.3 Adjust the microscope to an appropriate magnification, start from the end of the sample, and inspect along the straight line to the other end, inspecting a total of 500 particles; if one line is insufficient, you can start another line, record the number of particles of the product material, and then calculate the percentage of particles. Approved by the State Bureau of Machinery Industry on May 20, 199930
