This standard refers to the 2006 edition of the "EAN·UCC General Specification" and GB/T5795-2006 "Chinese Standard Book Number" formulated by the International Article Numbering Association (GS1), and has revised GB/T12906-2001 "Chinese Standard Book Number Barcode" in combination with China's actual situation. The technical content of this standard is consistent with the technical requirements of international standards.
This standard replaces GB/T12906-2001 "China Standard Book Number Barcode".
Compared with GB/T12906-2001, the main changes of this standard are as follows:
---GB/T12508 and GB/T18348 are added to the normative reference documents.
---In order to use this standard more conveniently, the relevant technical contents of Chapter 5 to Chapter 9 of GB12904 are placed in the main text of this standard.
---According to the requirements of "China Standard Book Number" (GB/T5795-2006), the barcode printing position has been appropriately adjusted.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Logistics Information Management Standardization Technical Committee.
