3.1 Engaged in welding The structural manufacturer shall conduct welding process assessment in accordance with the provisions of this standard and relevant industry standards, and use the qualified assessment records as the basis for the preparation of welding process specifications. 3.2 The welding procedure qualification must be carried out in the manufacturer, and the welding procedure specifications compiled are only applicable to the manufacturer. 3.3 The format of the welding procedure qualification record and welding procedure specification can be determined by the relevant department or manufacturer, but the main factors affecting the quality of the welded parts, additional main factors (referring to when the joint performance has impact toughness requirements) and secondary factors must be indicated. The Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China approved the implementation on 1994-07-01 on 1993-07-27

3.4·When changing the welding method, all Re-qualify the welding procedure. Basic content
4.1 Base material
The base material used for process evaluation should be the same as the product. In order to reduce the repetitive workload of process assessment, the base material is divided into different categories and a group of numbers according to chemical composition, mechanical properties, etc. 4.1.1
(see Table 1). Under the same conditions of other main factors (and additional main factors), the process qualification of a certain steel can represent the process qualification of other steels in the same type and group number. 4.1.2 The welding process of dissimilar materials between steels of different types and group numbers. The assessment must be carried out using a combination of steel materials of the corresponding category number. Even though the welding process assessment of each group of steel materials has passed, the process assessment of the combination must still be carried out. 4.1.3 For steel materials of P1, P3, P4, and P5 categories, except that the welding method is small hole effect plasma arc welding, they have passed the process assessment of the higher category number itself, and other major factors (and additional major factors) Under the same conditions, it can represent the process evaluation between steel materials of this group number and steel materials of lower group numbers.
4.1.4 For low alloy steel and medium alloy steel not listed in the classification range of Table 1, process evaluation should be carried out separately. Table 1
