Summary:
This standard is one of the series of standards for "Filament Bulbs for Road Motor Vehicles" used in headlamps, fog lamps and signal lamps for road motor vehicles. This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for performance such as life, lumen maintenance, torsional strength, glass shell strength and vibration resistance. In addition, the maximum temperature limit, maximum filament bulb profile and maximum allowable voltage surge are given as a guide for the design of lighting and electrical devices. These performance requirements are a supplement to the basic requirements specified in GB 15766.1-2000. These performance requirements are not used as a basis for authoritative organizations to conduct product type approval or batch product consistency inspection.
