Some standard content:
1 Introduction National Standard of the People's Republic of China Office machines and data processing equipment Line spacngs and character spacings UDC681.3 GB 8910—83 #=IS0 4882 - 79 1.1 This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 4882-1979 "Line spacing and character spacing for office machines and data processing equipment". bzxZ.net
This standard specifies the preferred line spacing and character spacing. It is applicable to general data processing equipment but not to low-end Chinese character processing equipment. 1.2
2 Line spacing and character spacing
2.1 Line spacing
The preferred line spacing is 4.233mm
When pattern spacing is required, 3.175mm can be used.
2.2 Character spacing
The preferred character spacing is 2.54mms
When fine spacing is required; 2.117 mm can be used; in situations where copying is not required, the character spacing can be 1.693mm Note: In data processing or remote communication applications, printing equipment that does not adopt the preferred solution will cause communication difficulties. Additional remarks:
This standard was proposed by the Standardization Research Institute of the Ministry of Electronics. This standard is funded by Nanjing Cable TV, Ministry of Electric Power. The section "Inappropriate for Chinese Information Places" is supplemented in consideration of the characteristics and usage of Chinese characters. Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on November 2, 1983 | TT | Implementation on October 1, 1984
