In electronic data interchange (EDI), it is extremely important to identify the participants and locations with code type. Using code identification to replace all alphanumeric names and addresses is the key to the successful implementation of EDI projects. Calculation method of check code
The check code is calculated by the following steps with 10 as the modulus and 3 and 1 as the weight factors: Steps:
Step 1: Number the 13-digit number (including the check code) from right to left: Step 2: Add the values of all positions with even numbers; Step 3: Multiply the result of step 4 by the value 3;
Step 4: Starting from number 3, add the values of all positions with odd numbers; Step 5: Add the result of step 3 to the result of step 4; Step 6: Use a value that is not less than the result of step 5 and is 10 Subtract the result of step 5 from the smallest integer multiple, and the difference is the value of the check code.
Example: Calculate the value of the check code C of 692900012345C. Step 1:
