Summary:
This standard specifies the composition and layout of ten-key keyboards for adding machines and calculators, as well as the shape of the keys, the inclination of the keyboard plane, the maximum travel of the keys and the key spacing. This standard only applies to the numeric keys that make up the ten-key keyboard, not to the function keys of such keyboards. It may be the subject of a separate standard. Adding machines and calculatorsNumeric section of ten-key keyboardsGB 9310—88www.bzxz.net
This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO1092-1974 "Numeric section of ten-key keyboards for adding machines and calculators". 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the composition and layout of the adder and calculator keyboards, as well as the shape of the keys, the inclination of the keyboard plane, the maximum key travel and the key spacing.
This standard is only applicable to the numeric keys that make up the ten-key keyboard, and does not apply to the function keys of such keyboards. It may belong to the subject of a separate standard. 2 Composition and layout
The numeric section of the ten-key keyboard should contain ten keys. Corresponding to the numbers 0 to 9, the layout is configured as shown in Figure 1. In addition, a double zero key (00) and a triple zero key (000) may be provided on the keyboard. The decimal point key (, or.) and the minus key (-). All zero keys shall be included in the zero zone indicated by "Z" in Figure 1. When multiple zero keys are provided, they shall be arranged from left to right in the following order:
0, 00, 000.
3 Key shape
The tops of all keys shall be designed to minimize the possibility of fingers slipping off the keys during operation. To facilitate key operation, the tops of the chain of the number keys 5 or 4, 5, 6 may be tactilely distinguishable from the other keys. 4 Slope of the keyboard plane
For ease of operation, the P--P plane on which the key top surfaces lie shall make an angle α with the reference horizontal plane HH, preferably between 10 and 20° (see Figure 2).
5 Key travel
The depth of penetration required to operate each key shall not exceed 7'm. 6 Spacing
The center distance α and b between two adjacent keys (see Figure 1) should be: 19=1. mm.
Approved by the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on April 26, 1988 and implemented on December 1, 1988
