This standard specifies the number and position of longitudinal joints of the core fabric layer of canvas core conveyor belts and the number and position of transverse joints of the fabric layer. This standard applies to canvas core conveyor belts.

3.1 Provisions for joints of the fabric layer of conveyor belts with polyamide canvas and poly canvas as the core. 3.1.1 The number of longitudinal joints shall be in accordance with Table 1. Table

3.1.3 The longitudinal joints of different fabric layers must be staggered. The distance between the longitudinal joints of adjacent fabric layers shall not be less than 100mm. When the width of the conveyor belt allows two or more longitudinal joints in the same fabric layer, the distance between each longitudinal joint shall not be less than 2003.1.4
3.1.5.
