This standard is formulated in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Products of Origin" and G17921099 General Requirements for Products of Origin. Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix L, Appendix E, Appendix F, and Appendix G of the 2003 standard are normative appendices. This standard was proposed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Standardization Working Group for Products of Origin. The geographical scope of origin of Wenshan Panax notoginseng is limited to the scope approved by the quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department according to the provisions on product protection of the place of origin, see Appendix A

Wenshan sangi
Roots, stems, leaves, flowers and H. T. samples of Panax notoginseng (Rurk.) FH (Cher) from Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, at 1200m-2000m above sea level, planted according to standard technology. See Appendix B for the original plant diagram of Panax notoginseng.

5.1 Planting environment
5.1.1 Air quality. The air quality should meet the requirements of GB3095-1996 secondary standard. 5.1.2 Water quality, the water quality should meet the requirements of GB5034-1992 secondary standard. 5.1.3 Soil. The upper environment should meet the requirements of GB15618-1999 secondary standard. The soil pH value should be between 5 and 7.0.
5.1.4 Climate environment. The sunshine hours should be 1500h, greater than or equal to [0℃, the effective accumulated temperature is 5000℃:--6000%, the annual rainfall is 900 mm~1 309 rmm, and the dry period should be 300 1.5.1.5 Geographical environment. Choose a specific area between 23°30 north latitude and 1200m~2000m. 5.2 Production seeds
Annual Panax notoginseng healthy seeds produced by cattle within the range of 1200m~1600m above sea level should be selected as production seeds. 5.3 Cultivation technology
5.3.1 Shed construction
