This standard is applicable to the quality identification of standard bleached cotton thread for dye testing (after scouring and bleaching, but not mercerized, whitening agent, sizing, or bluing), and is applicable to processing and manufacturing. 2 Reference standards

3 Technical requirements
Standard bleached cotton thread for dyeing test shall meet the following requirements. 3.1 Appearance: no messy yarn, white surface, clean hook, no pollution, oil stains, yellow spots. 3.2 Single yarn breaking strength: 11.2±0.5cN/tex3.3 Twist coefficient: 400~530
3.4 pH value: 7±0.5
3.5 Capillary effect: 10±1cm/30min
3.6 Whiteness: 75±5
3.7 Dyeing effect: The color difference between batches of standard bleached cotton yarn for dye test is "approximate" to "slight" when dyed with the same dye and the same dyeing method, and the change in color depth is not more than ±5%. 4 Grading regulations
4.1 The grade of standard bleached cotton yarn for dye test is evaluated by combining internal quality with appearance quality, and is divided into qualified products and unqualified products. 4.2 Internal quality assesses single yarn breaking strength, twist coefficient, pH value, capillary effect, whiteness and dyeing effect. Its various indicators should meet the relevant provisions of Articles 3.2 to 3.7 of the technical requirements. If one indicator does not meet the requirements, it is an unqualified product. 4.3 Appearance quality is qualified if it meets the requirements of 3.1. 4.4 Final grade assessment

Each package should have the name of the manufacturer, product name, production date, specifications, weight and the name of the supervision unit.
