3 Technical requirements
Shape and position tolerances without tolerance values
Batch inspection counting sampling procedures and sampling tables (applicable to inspection of continuous batches) Metallographic inspection of valve seats for internal combustion engines
3.1 Valve seats shall be manufactured in accordance with product drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures. 3.2 Valve seats are generally made of the materials listed in Table 1. Table 1
3.3 Valve seat metallographic inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of JB/T8893
3.4 The hardness difference of each point on the same valve seat shall not exceed 5 HRC units. 3.5 The dimensional tolerance value of the valve seat shall not exceed that specified in Table 2. Approved by the State Machinery Industry Bureau on September 17, 1999, and implemented on January 1, 2000. Table 3 Valve seat parts Surface roughness R, value Outer cylindrical surface Inner true diameter Inner cylindrical surface 3.7 The shape and position tolerance of the valve seat shall be manufactured according to the following grades specified in GB/T1184: a) The verticality of the outer cylindrical surface to the upper end surface is Grade 7; Note: The upper end surface refers to the contact surface with the valve red cover. b) The parallelism of the lower end face to the upper end face is level 7: c) The coaxiality of the inner cylindrical face to the outer cylindrical face is level 9: d) The cylindricity of the outer circle is level 8.

3.8 Recommended values for the assembly interference of the valve seat: 0.0015~0.003 of the outer diameter of the valve seat for matching with cast iron cylinder heads: 0.002~0.0035 of the outer diameter of the valve seat for matching with aluminum cylinder heads. 3.9 Surface quality of valve seats
3.9.1 The sealing cone surface of the valve seat shall not have casting defects such as cracks, looseness, pores and slag inclusions. 3.9.2 Cracks and slag inclusions are not allowed in other parts: However, casting defects such as pores, shrinkage cavities and sand holes within the following specifications are allowed:
a) The diameter does not exceed 0.2mm;
b) The number of defects on the same piece does not exceed 3; c) The hole run-off distance is greater than 10mm.
3.10 The life of the valve seat should not be less than the overhaul period of the internal combustion engine. Under normal use, if the user causes damage due to poor manufacturing quality during the warranty period, the manufacturer shall be responsible for replacement. 4 Inspection rules
4.1 Each product must be inspected and qualified by the manufacturer's technical inspection department before it can be shipped. 4.2 When the ordering unit samples the product quality plate, it shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T2828, or agreed upon by the ordering unit and the manufacturer. 5 Marking, packaging, storage
5.1 Each valve seat must be cleaned, oil-sealed or otherwise treated with rust prevention before packaging, and wrapped with strong, water-proof neutral paper or film before being packed into a packaging box. Each box should contain valve seats of the same model. 5.2 The packaging box should indicate:
a) Manufacturer's name, logo and address;
b) Internal combustion engine model, part name and part number: 2

d) Date of publication.

5.3 The packaging box should be accompanied by a product quality certificate signed by the inspector, and the certificate should indicate: a) Manufacturer's name, logo and address;
b) Internal combustion engine model, part name and part number: c) Inspection date. bZxz.net
5.4 The packaged valve seat must be packed in a dry packaging box lined with waterproof paper, and ensure that the parts will not be damaged during normal transportation. The total mass shall not exceed 50kg.
5.5 The packaging box should be marked with:
a) Manufacturer's name, logo and address;
b) Internal combustion engine model and part name;
c) Total mass and quantity;
d) Volume (length × width × height), mm;
e) Receiving unit and address;
f) Packing date;
g) "Handle with care", "Moisture-proof" and other signs. S.6 The packaged valve seat should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse. Under normal storage conditions, the manufacturer should ensure that it will not rust within 12 months from the date of leaving the factory.
