This part specifies the test items, test methods, test equipment and test standards for the testing of various indexable end mills. The method is not comprehensive.
This part is applicable to the testing of indexable end mills produced by companies, and other indexable end mills can be used as a reference. 2 Normative references

4.4 Detection of tool runout
4.4.1 Detection of radial runout of circumferential cutting edge The detection method is as follows: see Figure 1, position the vertical tool tip with the center hole of the measuring end, tighten it on the tip set or deflection checker, make the indicator head vertically contact with the circular solid cutting edge, rotate it, and read the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the indicator pointer.
