This standard applies to machine-made jute yarns and threads (hereinafter referred to as jute yarns and threads) with jute and kenaf as the main raw materials. 2 When accepting jute yarns and threads, 50 packages are taken as one acceptance unit. If the number of packages accepted at one time is less than 50 packages, it is still taken as one acceptance unit. One acceptance unit is one processing unit. If the supply and demand parties have other contracts, they shall be implemented according to the contract. 3 When accepting linen yarn and thread, five packages are randomly selected from each acceptance unit. Six skeins (balls and tubes) of linen yarn and thread for physical index inspection are selected from each package, of which two skeins (balls and tubes) are used for inspection, and the other four skeins (balls and tubes) are used as retest samples. Ten skeins (balls and tubes) of linen yarn and thread are selected from each package for appearance defect inspection. 4 When accepting linen yarn and thread, the provisions of GB2701-87 "Test Methods for Jute Yarn and Thread" shall be followed. 5 When accepting linen yarn and thread, if the rate of appearance defects not meeting the product grade exceeds 4%, the supply and demand parties shall negotiate and deal with it. 6 When the physical index inspection results of linen yarn and thread are lower than the original grade, they shall be retested once. The retest sample shall be doubled, and the retest result shall be the final result.
