This standard specifies the shape and size of the rim contour (referred to as rim contour) of the matching part between the automobile rim and the tire, the rim diameter series, the rim calibration diameter and the inspection circumference.
This standard applies to various automobile rims.

The contour shape and size of the 2.15° deep groove rim shall comply with the provisions of Figure 1 and Tables 1 and 2. *1,3

The 5° deep groove rim profiles (except 3.00B) with flange codes B, J, JJ and JK listed in Tables 1 and 2 can be rounded, flat or frame-type bead seats. The rounded peak is used for the rim's assembly and disassembly edge (usually located on the outside of the vehicle after installation) or the non-assembly edge (usually located on the inside of the vehicle after installation), the flat peak is used for the rim's assembly and disassembly edge (both sides are assembly and disassembly edges and both sides can use flat peaks), and the frame is used for the non-assembly edge of the rim. The shapes and sizes of the round peak, flat peak and frame type bead seat should comply with the requirements of Figures 2, 3 and 4. R10.5**-5
