SY/T 5609--1999
This standard is revised on the basis of SY/T5609-93 (GB1806-86 before rectification) (Types and basic parameters of oil drilling rigs).
Compared with SY/T5609-93, the main changes of this standard are as follows: This standard adopts the foreign common method of calibrating the nominal drilling depth range with 114mm drill rod, retains the content of calibrating the nominal drilling depth range with 127mm drill rod in SY/T5609-93, and lists them in Table 1: This standard increases the drilling rig level from six to nine; This standard adopts the method of expressing the drilling rig level with the upper limit of the nominal drilling depth range and the maximum hook load, instead of the method of expressing the drilling rig level with only the nominal drilling depth range limit in SY/T5609-93. The specifications of the optional turntable opening diameter, aluminum pump and drilling platform height of each level of drilling rigs are appropriately increased.
This standard shall be implemented from December 1, 1999. This standard will replace SY/T5609-93 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Oil Drilling and Production Equipment. The drafting units of this standard are: Lanzhou Petroleum Machinery Research Institute, Lanzhou Petrochemical Machinery General Factory, Machinery Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development Scientific Research Institute, Baoji Petroleum Machinery Factory, and Jianghan Machinery Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Tang Zhenggongyong, Ma Jiaji, Yang Enfeng, and Li Chonghui. This standard was first issued in November 1986, and was adjusted to an industry standard in 1993 with the standard number SY/T560993. It was first revised in May 1999.
1 Scope
Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Types and Basic Parameters of Oil Drilling Rigs
The types and basic parametersfor oil drilling rigs

GB7T&423—1997 Drilling equipment and special pipes Vocabulary 3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 Mechanical drive drilling rig
A drilling rig powered by one or more internal combustion engines, which transmits power to various working machines through a mechanical transmission system (such as chains, sprockets, V-belts, gears, clutches and shafts, etc.). 3.2 Electric drilling rig
A drilling rig that uses AC or DC motors to drive various working machines. 3.3 Hydraulic drilling rig
Drilling rig that uses hydraulic power and transmission, uses hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors as actuators for lifting and rotating systems, and is controlled by hydraulic-electric or hydraulic-shielded control.
3.4 Nominal drilling depth range
The economic drilling depth range of the drilling rig when the drilling rig uses the specified drill string under the specified number of drilling ropes. 3.5 Maximum hook load
The load that cannot be exceeded when the drilling rig is lowering casing, handling accidents or performing other special operations under the specified maximum number of ropes. 3.6 Number of drilling ropes
The effective number of ropes used for normal lowering and lowering of drill strings and drilling. 3.7 Maximum number of ropes in the traveling system
The maximum number of effective ropes that can be provided by the gear system equipped with the drilling rig. 4 Methods for indicating the types and models of oil drilling rigs 4.1 The types of oil injection drilling rigs can be divided into: drive type, transmission type, and transportation method. The drive types are divided into: hydraulic drive, electric drive, and hydraulic drive. Electric drive is divided into: AC drive, DC medium drive, AC variable frequency electric drive.
Transmission type is divided into: chain drive, V-belt drive, gear drive. Transportation mode is divided into: block type, self-propelled, trailer type. Approved by the State Bureau of Petroleum and Chemical Industry on May 17, 1999 and implemented on December 1, 1999
