Safety colours are colours that express the meaning of safety information, indicating prohibition, warning, instruction, prompt, etc. [GB2893]3.2 Contrast colours
Contrast colours are contrasting colours that make safety colours more eye-catching. [GB2893]3.3 Sign of safety colours for tactile sticks The surface of a tactile stick uses red in the safety colour and white in the contrast colour as specific coating colours, so that it plays a role in traffic safety.
4 Safety color markings for blind canes
4.1 Safety color markings for ordinary blind canes
4.1.1 The safety color of ordinary canes is mainly white, with an additional circular red stripe perpendicular to the axis. 4.1.2 The width of the red stripe 1.1 is 70~100mm, located at the upper third of the total length, see Figure 1. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on July 29, 1997

4.2 Safety color markings for deaf canes

4.2.1 The safety color of deaf canes is a circular stripe with red and white alternations perpendicular to the axis. 4.2.2 The width of the red and white stripes shall be equidistant and ≥200mm, and the number of intervals in the total length shall be n≥4, see Figure 2. 4.3 Color chromaticity range
4.3.1 The red and white colors used in ordinary blind sticks and blind and deaf sticks shall comply with the relevant provisions of the red and white color chromaticity range in GB2893. 4.3.2 The red and white colors of ordinary blind sticks and blind and deaf sticks, if made of reflective materials, shall comply with the requirements of JT/T279, and the selection level shall not be lower than the index of the fourth-level reflective film.
